The snow storm has not reopened any talks about building the pending line to Dulles International Airport underground. It's a shame really. All above ground service has been halted and WMATA plans to soldier on knowing this will be a problem in the future as well.
Future children will know what Christmas is like without presents as parents are unable to shop during the last week before the holiday. Perhaps this isn't so bad. The children can be given IOU's and learn what it's like to live in California. |

"Snow storm threat for the weekend is major. Some of the latest model data we're looking at suggest a crippling, historic storm."
For D.C., that means we will probably get an inch of snow. I predict mass hysteria beginning tonight. I am worried about the college students in the area. A lot of them have a final exam Saturday morning and are planning to go home Saturday afternoon. Ugh! |
